TEXTURED CROP Snipped To Fit

People that are familiar with The Butcher's haircuts know he doesn’t use guards much... He really likes the free-hand, signature details that make a haircut a one of a kind custom made “tailored haircut”. With this in mind comes the inspiration for the video above... The Butcher's daughter Puck has a boyfriend called Woetoe right..? Super nice fella, awesome skateboarder with a unique style, they make a great couple. Of course I asked him if he wanted a haircut but my daughter was like “Don’t give him one of those “Schorem” haircuts, I don’t like that shit” 😂😂😂 And hey, I get that, can’t argue taste right, to each their own and I’ll never force a haircut on someone, from day one we said: “Give your client the haircut that goes best with his personality” So when Woet said: “I never use a comb, only my hands” it made me think... If he doesn’t use one, maybe I should cut it without one, only using my hands, that’s gonna be super interesting ánd a challenge... So I used a combination of cutting and texturing techniques using only my hands and Mizutani Scissors and I was SUPER STOKED how it came out, no harsh lines but a scruffy, English, Paul Weller inspired look… Now, I see all these photos of “perfect” haircuts on YouTube and I love it but I see Woetoe multiple times a week in real life and his hair is a mess, but a mess so perfectly balanced and “snipped to fit” you don’t wanna clean it up... It’s not always about cutting it right, sometimes it’s about the right cut… -FOLLOW
