How to Mix Trend Tips and Nail Polish for a Glam Manicure

Sephora shows how to mix Trend Tips nail stickers with nail laquer for an easy yet glamorous, personalized maniure at home. Click Show More for the steps and product links. Step 1: CUT OUT DESIGN: Using Sephora by OPI Trend Tips in Gold and Purple Ombre (http://seph.me/10Fq1qw), remove the clear film from the front of the Trend Tips. Cut each one in a triangular shape from the top and set aside cutouts for later. Do not peel off the backing on the stickers until ready to use. Step 2: Apply base coat to nails. We used Sephora by OPI Base Coat (http://seph.me/VixVER). Step 3: Apply 2 coats of nail color. The first coat should be thin and the second coat a bit thicker and richer so you get a more even coverage with no streaking. We used Sephora by OPI Nail Colour in A-Ha! Moment (http://seph.me/VS6krI). Step 4: Let nails dry for 5 minutes. Step 5: Peel the Trend Tip cutout from the backing paper. Step 6: Place Trend Tip on nail. Tip: Use a tweezer to help. Step 7: Use a finger to smooth out the design until it is wrinkle free. Use a nail file to file off any excess. Step 8: Apply a clear top coat to nail as a sealant.
