The 1858 Monopusher Chronograph combined the stunning green sunburst dial and Minerva column-wheel chronograph pedigree of 2017’s Montblanc Only Watch piece unique with a new 40mm stainless steel case. The Minerva-built chronograph line is considered to be one of Montblanc’s few true entrants in the realm of hand-assembly and fine finish (i.e., high horology) generally populated by the likes of Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, A. Lange & Sohen, and Vacheron Constantin. Previously built in 47mm and 44mm case sizes, the Montblanc 1858 column wheel and manually wound chronographs were beyond the reach of those who require or prefer more traditional sizes.
