One Watch, One Record: A Conversation with Manny Marroquin, GRAMMY®-winning mix engineer

Welcome to One Watch, One Record—a series exploring the art of fine watchmaking and the timeless impact of music. Produced in partnership with Wrensilva, makers of HiFi record consoles, we connect artists and creators through their shared passion for craftsmanship. Our first guest, Manny Marroquin, is a 41-time GRAMMY®-nominated, 14-time-winning mix engineer behind some of today’s biggest hits. In this conversation, The 1916 Company’s Tim Mosso sits down with Manny at Larrabee Studios to discuss his journey from Guatemala to Los Angeles, the role of music in his life, and how Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” shaped his path. From his first vinyl spin to the precision of a Rolex Cellini, Manny draws deep connections between music, craftsmanship, and meaningful milestones. Special thanks to Marroquin, Larrabee Studios, and Wrensilva for helping us bring this series to life.
