Pandora presents: For Generations – the powerful intersection of motherhood

Pandora discovers how four generations of Chaneen Salako’s family stand united through their shared experiences as mothers. https://go.pandora.net/2OluIqa “The wisest piece of advice I ever got from my mum and my grandma is to believe in myself and to believe that I can do it. I am able to do this as a mother. I am able to parent my girls and to be a great mum. And it’s important for every mum to hear those words.” – Chaneen Salako In this film, director Irene Baqué tells the story of Chaneen Salako and four generations of her family: her daughters Jasmine and Ocean, her mother, Aliya and her grandmother Jasmine. As the children play in the park, the women explore how their shared experiences of motherhood help them support and celebrate each other in the most powerful way possible. “Our Sisterhood” is a series of films by Irene Baqué for Pandora, created to celebrate the power of female tribes for International Women’s Day 2021.
