In 2014, Philipp, who lives in Munich, Germany, went to a jeweler to purchase an engagement ring for his future wife. While there, he had a thought that many of you can probably relate to: "Hmmm, I might as well pick up something for himself." A longtime fan of IWC pilot's watches, he settled on the Mark XVII. He appreciates its legibility, and that it's a nice reminder of a special time in his life.
