Maison Martin Margiela Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013 | Paris Couture Fashion Week http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS - Maison Martin Margiela is a brand that likes to make its audience gasp, and they did so last season when they created a collection where the models wore face masks made out of crystals. This season, the face masks were back, though not quite as shiny. Still, we're sure Nicola Formichetti and Kanye West were pleased with that element (they were sitting front row.) Of course, there were other elements that made this 19-piece second season couture collection just as cool. There were the urban and edgy designs, the deconstructed and repurposed pieces (a trench coat made of a 1920s flapper dress) and of course, those three voluminous finale dresses made entirely out of candy wrappers.
