YOKE Fall 2026 Menswear Paris - Fashion Channel For the first Paris presentation of his label Yoke, designer Norio Terada introduced a fall collection inspired by the organic forms and working methods of artist Jean Arp. The show included hundreds of hand-shaped white ceramic pieces placed in the space to accompany the garments. The collection emphasized textile craftsmanship and material experimentation. Key pieces included a cashmere coat with a sack back, made from fabric sourced in Bishu, Aichi Prefecture, a Japanese region known for wool production. Terada also developed yarns made from leftover fibers—including wool, cashmere, cotton, linen, and alpaca which were used for hand-knit scarves and sweaters. Knit bags were produced in collaboration with textile artist Emiko Sato. Several garments incorporated structural details, such as metal wiring inserted into plackets and hems, creating sculptural shapes. Another technique involved creasing checked wool suiting and bonding it to a second wool layer, referencing Arp’s process of creating compositions by dropping and arranging paper shapes.
