Crystal, Debra & Kairaba | Common Thread | Nike

From NYC to South London to the Bronx, when you push the ball forward, you’re showing others that they can, too. Together we’re grounded in the unshakeable power of sport, seeing challenges as opportunities. The second episode of the Common Thread series focuses on sport’s ability to transcend borders and boundaries with something as simple as a ball and a goal. Featured athletes, US Women’s National Team Champion Defender Crystal Dunn, Mentor and Footballer at Football Beyond Borders Debra Nelson and FC Harlem’s Kairaba Ali-Danbukar, exemplify how we can pursue different passions, yet remain connected by a common thread as athletes using sport to improve ourselves and our communities.
