Experience the timeless allure of cashmere redefined for a new generation in the fall/winter 2026-2027 presented at Milan Fashion Week! Lavinia Biagiotti transformed the stage into a vivid tableau of the brand’s soul, recreating the grand portal of the Marco Simone castle - the family’s historic headquarters—shrouded in the ethereal glow of an autumnal forest. It’s a passage from an extraordinary history to the future that fashion brings us every day,” Lavinia remarked, standing beneath the recreated 1,000-year-old tower. This "Designer’s Tale" was not merely a runway show, but a tribute to a national monument once home to Galileo Galilei and painstakingly restored by the late Laura Biagiotti. The collection itself was a masterclass in "durable luxury," designed to echo the longevity of the castle’s stone walls. The palette drew directly from the Italian landscape: deep chestnut, warm amber, rust, and the vibrant red of wild berries. Amidst these earthy tones, a delicate floral print on a one-shoulder dress hinted at the early Milanese spring, offering a poetic bridge between seasons. Cashmere, the undisputed heart of the house, was reimagined with modern technical prowess. Biagiotti showcased ultra-light yarns in sculpted, fitted silhouettes and floor-sweeping maxi cardigans featuring intricate cable knits. Innovations included a dress with an openwork motif and a stunning "faux-fur" coat crafted entirely from spun cashmere in the brand’s signature shades of ivory and cream.
