On a trip to Paris with his wife, Adam found a watch perfectly befitting his academic research. A chemistry professor at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, Adam studies artificial photosynthesis, and works around something called a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer. This instrument produces a magnetic field strong enough to magnetize most watches, but not his Rolex Milgauss.
