Andreas Kronthaler for VIVIENNE WESTWOOD Spring 2027 Paris - Fashion Channel Vivienne Westwood Spring 2027 by Andreas Kronthaler explored contrasts between vivid prints, floral combinations, beachwear and historical court references, alongside the house’s punk codes. The collection drew on fabrics sourced in Paris’ Barbès neighborhood, including colorful Bazin cottons, used in different lengths and combinations. Another reference was a late-17th-century Cheat Jacket, whose decorative fabric appeared only on the front while the back was constructed from leftover materials. This idea was reworked throughout the collection through contrasting materials and silhouettes. Movement remained central to the designs, with different fabric combinations creating changing proportions between front and back. The collection also featured slouchy men’s nightshirts and swimwear, extending Westwood’s approach to menswear with relaxed silhouettes. Natasha Lyonne made a runway appearance in a bright open leopard-print jacket, while Farida Khelfa opened the show. Be one of the first to see new videos.
