Marisa and Lori: Showing Up for Each Other | Maybelline New York Brave Together In honor of World Mental Health Day, we sat down with mother and daughter Marisa and Lori to talk about the power of showing up for one another. Their conversation shows what becomes possible when we feel supported, seen, and heard. About This Conversation Marisa has an anxiety disorder, and at one point it felt like she had to relearn how to do everything in her life. Taking baby steps as an adult was humbling, but having someone who has a glimpse into what's going on in her own body and head has been freeing. Lori believes there's absolutely nothing her daughter can't do, and today, Marisa sees possibility everywhere. It's the Maybelline power of possibility: when we feel supported, seen, and heard, more becomes possible. Mental health struggles impact more than just the individual. They affect everyone around them. Loved ones want to be a vital lifeline, but knowing how to help makes all the difference. About Brave Together Maybelline New York has helped fund free mental health support for 4 million people worldwide through Brave Together, equipping the entire support system with practical tools to listen, understand, and care, empowering unbreakable bonds to heal together. Watch the full Brave Together film featuring three duos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJOfad5G9qs Free Resources and Training Want to support someone?
