First, top model Anja Rubik closed the show. Second, American model Karlie Kloss opened the show and it was her first time back on the runway after skipping New York, London, and Milan Fashion Week. Makeup Artist Tom Pecheux is on hand to do makeup for Anja Rubik. "The makeup for Anthony Vaccellero is our version, Anthony and I, of what would be Parisian. Paris is known for the beauty, not only of the buildings, but of the woman," explains Pecheux. Pecheux says women don't wear much makeup during the day, but when they go out at night, they love their smoky eyes. "I'm adding to the black eye, a bit of burgundy," he says, "because it's an amazing color to make your own eye color pop out." The lips are very beige. The finish the look, he adds a little bit of lip gloss. Anja Rubik calls Paris the most important city for fashion. "It's starting really good, it's starting with one of my favorite designers, Anthony Vaccarello," she adds. "I've been supporting him since last season and I think he's a huge young talent that is going to take over the whole industry." Hairstylist Anthony Turner calls the models "sexy soldiers" and says the hairstyle is "very androgynous, very powerful." He's using a lot of L'Oreal Fix Max gel. "We're doing gelled low side parts, so like boys. Like a boy's hair."
