PRONOUCE Fall 2024 Menswear Milan Full Show Welcome to Pronounce, the fashion brand founded in 2016 by designers Yushan Li and Jun Zhou. Based between Milan and Shanghai, they recently showcased their Fall 2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week. The collection draws inspiration from Zhuangzi's butterfly dream, blending insect flight traces into garments with tridimensional velvet ropes and fabric appliqués, creating mesmerizing concentric spirals. The designers emphasize that the butterfly represents the fascination of mechanical flight traces rather than a romantic symbol. Li and Zhou utilized scrap fabrics from previous collections, mainly Spring 2022, and unused materials from their studio. Classical pieces of the Chinese wardrobe, such as the Mao suit, are reinvented with reworked silhouettes and contrasting tones.
