KOLOVRAT ModaLisboa Spring 2024 Lisboa

Step into the vibrant world of Kolovrat, where dreams meet the harsh realities of Cuba. In a quest for endless possibilities, Kolovrat found a country marked by limitations. The colors of old Chevrolet cars, colonial palaces, and quaint bodeguitas painted a picture of a place where scarcity prevailed — sparse tobacco plantations, bankrupt companies, and empty roads. Cuba, a nation paradoxically rich yet burdened by poverty. As Kolovrat immersed herself in this contrasting landscape, inspiration naturally took root. The echoes of her Cuban journey manifested effortlessly into a collection that speaks volumes about her aspirations for the future. Picture super-volumes, the interplay of loose and tight, oversized silhouettes, and multifunctional pockets. Experience the fusion of materials and original prints that encapsulate the essence of her Cuban odyssey. Blues, yellows, whites, and blacks dance on light fabrics, silks, crepes, cottons, and heavy twills, creating a visual tapestry that reflects Kolovrat's profound experience.
