Hundreds of guests gathered at the venue in Milan anticipating the fashionable event. At the same time, the gorgeous models of the show were getting their hemlines fixed and being groomed in hair and makeup. Hair stylist Antonio Musumeci explains the style that will be seen on the runway, "It's very simple, but striking. There are knots, you divide the hair into two parts and then knot them together with some hairpins and hairgrips in order to create a harmonious hairstyle made of knots." FashionTV caught up with the brilliant designer herself, Cristina Tardito to talk about the famous inspiration of this season's collection, "I will present today the revisitation of the grunge style, thinking about Francis Bean, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and what kind of style for the new generation", she says. Fur accents, leather gloves, warm boots, oversized knitwear, short hemlines, soft silhouettes, wool sweaters, ruffles and pretty pink lipstick were all the trends going on backstage as the models prepare to begin the show.
