GERTSCH: Live Graffiti, Custom Snowboard Gear & Culture at the LAAX Open | CultureCast

Snowboarding culture lives beyond the slopes — in art, creativity, and self-expression. Recorded at the LAAX Open 2026, this CultureCast profile highlights the work of GERTSCH, whose live graffiti activation transformed the Valley Hub into a creative playground for riders and fans alike. At the event, visitors were invited to bring their own gear and receive custom graffiti-style snow tags, turning personal equipment into one-of-a-kind pieces. The activation created a space where art, snowboarding, and community naturally collided. GERTSCH’s work has been associated with global fashion and culture brands, including Balenciaga, and at LAAX Open, their style helped shape an environment where creativity was accessible, interactive, and deeply connected to snowboard culture.
