Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) presents Wills India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from October 8-12, 2014. The event witnesses 30 shows and over 120 designers stalls at the exhibit area. Chhaya tried to showcase the spirit of the Banaras by her Bubble Banaras designer cloths. Colours of sindoor, chandan, Shiva, moksha implying red, yellow, blue and white were the predominant hues spotted on the ramp. Poonam Dubey took inspiration from states like Assam for her spring-summer collection, which used red and white coloured 'gamcha' cloth in creative ways.Prerna Bhardwaj's latest collection was a fusion of the Victorian charm and details which are seamlessly blended with the Indian creativity. Ritu Pande, the well-known designer's collection 'Lady in Lace' follows the delicate details of embroidary supported with lace to bring a sense of sophistication. Tennis sensation Sania Mirza walked for her. She donned a stunningly minimal gold and white maxi dress with delicate embroidery. Saaj bu Ankita's collection reflected the marriage of natural feminine shapes and sophistications of natural geometry.
