Mayabayu is a Malaysian artist who melds synth-pop with exotic tribal elements from her home of Sabah. She discusses the deeper meanings behind her new song, “O, Sayang” [“O, My Love”], which has been produced in collaboration with the Levi’s® Music Project. Mayabayu is one of four artists shortlisted from 200 submissions that the Levi’s® Music Project is committed to support for the next three years.
