Dato’ Maw, a Malaysian rapper with a raw personality and distinctive “Cina” brand of hip-hop, has been recognised as a crusader for Malaysia’s Chinese rap scene. In a heart-to-heart conversation, he talks about how his new song produced in collaboration with the Levi’s® Music Project, “WTP (Walk This Path)”, illustrates the ups and downs he’s faced as an artist in 2020. Dato’ Maw is one of four artists shortlisted from 200 submissions that the Levi’s® Music Project is committed to support for the next three years.
