Riccardo Tisci, Iris van Herpen and JW Anderson re-invent historical headgear in Bonnet

In this fashion film, Nick Knight and Amanda Harlech revive the bonnet, a now largely extinct piece of headwear with a rich and varied history. A selection of makers, including Sarah Burton, Iris Van Herpen, Riccardo Tisci, Stephen Jones and JW Anderson, were approached to craft their own interpretation of a bonnet, with encouragement to ignore limitation and create freely. This film accompanies and brings to life images shot for a V Magazine editorial in 2014.
