Belgian fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck initially failed his fashion school entrance exam. Years later, he would graduate alongside the legendary cohort of Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Dirk Bikkembergs, Dirk Van Saean and Marina Yee.
