Rajesh Pratap Singh's Blue Blood Collection

Rajesh Pratap Singh, the well known Indian fashion designer, paid tribute to the people in denim industry through his collection titled “Blue Blood” at 24th edition of the Wills Lifetsyle India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015. The WIFW 2015 was presented by FDCI and held in the capital of the country from October 8 to October 12, 2014. The show saw a group of people, dressed in denims, sitting on elevated platform on the ramp while models flaunted Singh's creations one after the other. His collection was a tribute to “blue-blooded tribe”, who view denims as more of a heritage. There were patchwork jackets, polka appliqués, chikan embroideries, tunics, denim pants with kurtas and skirts and more to see. The collection brought forward Singh's love for raw selvedge denim made with pure natural indigo.
