FDCI Presented WIFW SS15 showcasing collection of Alpana & Neeraj

The video showcased Alpana & Neeraj Spring-Summer15 collection inspired by Japan's “Kawai” or “Cute”. Kawai is associated with younger generation of Japan and is the country's dominant pop cultural aesthetics and is deeply imbibed in Japanese life. The Alpana and Neeraj collection was an attempt to capture ubiquity of Kawai and blend it with Japanese aesthetic that is minimalism and clean lines. The entire collection has roundness of compositions, neutral and pastel colours and childlike proportions making the dresses look like little dolls clothes. The sharp linear structure of the dresses were softened with bows and scallops.
