Stephen Doherty's Couture Process Film

In support of the medium, we invited London-based artist Stephen Doherty to take up residence in our Motcomb Street studios to draw haute couture looks from the Paris A/W 14 couture shows straight onto our wall in pastel and paint. Doherty is known for creating portraits with a contemporary edge rendered in graphic media like pencil, crayon and watercolour. The live mural was completed between 5 July and 9 July 2014, with Doherty even continuing while our signature Collections panel discussions - broadcasts that show experts from across the fashion industry discussing and debating the shows live - were streaming.
