Tissot PRS516 Automatic Chronograph Review | Bob's Watches Tissot is a respected Swiss watch company that was first established way back in 1853 by father and son watchmaking team, Charles-Félicien Tissot and Charles-Émile Tissot. With over 160 years of continuous history, Tissot has seen its fair share of challenges and successes, from weathering the tough Quartz crises of the 1970s to finding immense success among the fast-paced world of motorsport. The original vintage Tissot PR 516 from the 1960s earns its name from the series in which it was produced. 5 signifies the finishing option for the calibre, while 16 stands for the 16th model. Additionally, the “PR” stands for “Particularly Robust” or “Particularly Resista
