Kavita Bhartia With Her Spring-Summer Collection at WIFW 2015

The 24th edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week starts in the Capital of the country. The event presented by Fashion Design Council of India lists many talented and famous Indian designers to showcase their spring-summer collection. Kavita Bhartia too presents her collection titled “Out of the Karkhana- To the Runways”. The line inspired by the Chintz designs, originally glazed calico textiles printed with designs featuring flowers and other patterns in different colours, typically on a light plain background. The line-up is being described as an ode to the karigars and master artisans who work effortlessly behind the scenes to transform textiles into contours, along with indigenous craftsmanship. The collection involved wide array of fabrics ranging from khadi, cotton, georgette to summer lace.
