Style Mynt at the Indian Resort Fashion Week talked to Masaba Gupta about the latest fashion trends, her favourite style and about her design philosophy. Right from taking about the lot of monochrome and pops of colours along with quirky prints used in her collection she also talked about the trends to watch out for in spring/summer 2014. The trend for the season would definitely be monochrome and neon that will slowly move to more pastel colours and cartoon inspired prints as well as lots of quirky prints inspired from daily life. Lots of her collection is heavily inspired from quirky prints and has become a part of her design aesthetic, as she has never look beyond it. The other trending dress of the season would be crop tops, highway skirts and full circle skirts but most of the designers think that it's a fad and it is not going to last very long because it not a silhouette that works for everyone and only a few girls can wear it. White shirt is a quadruped classic, which she finds very trendy. Her fashion advice for fans is just be yourself and be fearless and adopt your own style rather than aping someone else.
