The verb form of the word queer, 'Queering' looks for places where gender, sexuality, masculinity and femininity can be challenged and questioned. Our immersive live stream, 12 and 13 July 2018, saw individuals from all walks use their art, talent and physicality to both show and tell us what the term means to them. ‘It’s about iconic images and how album covers functioned to protect identities: is it relaxed? The pose explores presentations of black male sexuality as seen through popular culture.
