At the beginning of the pandemic, ordinary lives were replaced with virtual ones as we lived most of our days through Zoom. Whether it be work or leisure, the platform replaced many of our daily activities as we all lived within our virtual squares, observing while being observed. Utilising the novel technology, five visionary creatives showcase their abilities in digital transformation while challenging the remits of a traditional fashion shoot with Profile. Enlisting the help of partners and friends to hold the laptops of Jazzelle (@uglyworldwide), Daphne Guinness (@daphneguinness), Yeha Leung (@creepyyeha), Emma Harvey (@yungelita) and Josephine Lee (@princessgollum), the webcam became Nick Knight’s camera as the image-maker's remote direction unfolded just as it would in the studio.
