Satori: Erica Schreiner

http://showstudio.com/project/satori Two years in the making, ‘Satori’ is an experimental feature length art film, created by New York based, video and performance artist, Erica Schreiner. The work builds on Schreiner's existing explorations into the processes of making and destroying and plays with the often anarchic and conflicting arguments of modern day - personal passion versus making money to survive, lack of privilege and opportunity and the value of personal belongings. Shot on VHS film, Schreiner performs while simultaneously operating the camera. Schreiner made the picture entirely by herself; writing, editing and acting.
