It had been years since we’d seen an example of the Oris Leonhard Euler Limited Edition, released in 2007 on the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Swiss mathematician. The dial recalls Euler’s work in the field of “magic squares”, a Sudoku forerunner, with numerals inspired by his handwriting. This piece was one of 1,707 we made, and as you’ll see, it was in need of a little magic of its own. So we asked the Oris Service Division to conjure up something special.
