Oris - Go your own way. EPISODE 1: Pia Van Peteghem
--------
Pia Van Peteghem discovered ceramics through her grandmother, Mona, who introduced her to clay work. During her schooling, she continued to study with the ceramist Sophie de Busscher.
At the age of 18, she decided to be initiated into ceramic turning and it was for her the confirmation of a special attraction for ceramics that became the privileged means of research and expression.
After studying art history and cultural mediation, ceramics prevails. She left Paris for Brussels to study in a visual arts School, in ceramic section. Back in Paris, she chose to complete her training at the Art and Technique Ceramics School, where she met Grégoire Scalabre with whom she created her studio.
