In the final chapter of the Prada Re-Nylon film series, Prada Ambassador Sadie Sink journeys to the Great Kelp Highway of Northern and Central America with National Geographic CreativeWorks. Exploring the fragile balance of this marine ecosystem, she uncovers the impact of overfishing and pollution on the once-thriving kelp forests.
Guided by marine biologist, SEA BEYONDer and Goodwill Ambassador of the project Giovanni Chimienti and scientist Rodrigo Beas, she delves into the biodiversity of these underwater forests - home to edible fish, shellfish, marine mammals, and seabirds. The episode highlights the urgency of protecting these delicate habitats through knowledge and action.
Through the SEA BEYOND initiative, a partnership between Prada Group and UNESCO-IOC, Prada sustainability efforts continue to inspire younger generations in ocean education.
1% of the proceeds from the Prada Re-Nylon for SEA BEYOND Collection benefit the SEA BEYOND project by Prada Group and in partnership with UNESCO-IOC.
