Oris Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter | Smashed but not trashed | No. 48

Ah. That’s a bad one. This Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter, the world’s only automatic watch with a built-in mechanical altimeter, had a smashed crystal when it crash-landed back in Hölstein. These things happen. But with a mechanical watch, they don’t have to be terminal. The watchmakers in the Oris Restoration Division are good at getting watches back up in the air. Could they make this one fly again? /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ►PRODUCT INFORMATION Model: Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter with foot scale Reference: 01 733 7705 4134-Set 5 23 14FC Product: https://www.oris.ch/de-CH/product/watch/propilot/big-crown-propilot-altimeter-feet-scale/01-733-7705-4134-Set-5-23-14FC /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ► Follow our path: Website: https://www.oris.ch/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oris/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ORIS/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/oriswatches ► Subscribe to our YouTube Channel: https://rebrand.ly/oris-youtube-26040 /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Timecodes 0:00 Intro 0:06 Dismantling the watch 0:48 Restoration and cleaning process 1:22 Assembling the watch 2:37 Finished watch 3:06 Go your own way
