Oris: A date with destiny (2021)

Oris watches are designed to be worn, enjoyed, loved. This Artelier Date had been on its owner’s wrist for years and came back to us needing some attention! At our Hölstein factory, our watchmakers disassembled it, cleaned and polished it, and restored it to its original glory. The trickiest part was achieving the matt and polished finish to the Artelier Date’s delicately articulated bracelet. We’ve been restoring watches like this for longer than any of us can remember, but it’s still a joy to see new life breathed into a mechanical watch.
